Defi®5T Trainer
The Defi® 5T Trainer
is a training device that prepares rescuers to use the AED defibrillator to treat a victim in sudden cardiac arrest without actually charging it or delivering electrical energy. Voice prompts, simulated energy delivery, pauses for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, training pads, and the functional system status display accurately recreate how the defibrillator works and provide a realistic demonstration.
The included trainer remote allows the instructor full control over the configuration of the trainer.
The remote communicates with the trainer via a IR window located next to the PADs port. Next to the IR window is a status indicator LED, which flashes when a correct command is received. The LED status indicator blinks continuously when a scenario has been paused. See the diagram and descriptions below
