Note: The remote control battery access is located on the back side of the remote control. To open the battery compartment, the user should slide the tab on the left side to the left and pull the compartment away from the remote. Replace the 3V Lithium (CR2025) battery positive side up. Be sure that the batteries protector is fixed if the trainer was not used for a long time.

! CAUTION: Use of the remote control should not exceed 8 meters, make sure that the remote control aims at the IR window vertically. If the remote control doesn’t work well, probably because the battery power is low, try to replace the battery to ensure proper use.

The handhold remote control for the Trainer provides the Instructor with significant control over the configuration of the Trainer. The remote control communicates with the Trainer via an IR window located next to the PADs connector. A status indicator LED is located next to the IR window, and it will flash to indicate that a correct command has been received. The status indicator LED will flash continuously when a scenario has been paused. Refer to the diagram and descriptions listed below.

Scenario 1 is the first and the fifth scenario under AHA suggestion.
It is that patient’s heart rate will return to normal after 4 shock cycles.
                     The process is analysis-charging-shock-CPR-analysis-charging-shock-
                     CPR- analysis-charging-shock-CPR- analysis-charging-shock- CPR-the end.

Scenario 2 is the second and the third scenario under AHA suggestion.
It is that patient’s heart rate will return to normal after 2 shock cycles.
                    The process is analysis-charging-shock-CPR-analysis-charging-shock-CPR-the end.

Scenario 3 is the fourth and the sixth scenario under AHA suggestion.
It is that patient’s heart rate can not be shocked. The process is analysis- CPR -the end.

Scenario 4 is the seventh scenario under AHA suggestion.

It is shocked twice continuously with one-time shock.
                    The process is analysis-charging-shock-CPR-analysis-charging-shock-
                    CPR-analysis-CPR- analysis-charging-shock-CPR -analysis-CPR-the end.

Scenario 5 is the eighth scenario under AHA suggestion.
It is pads-off with twice shock process.
                   The process is pads off-analysis-charging-shock-CPR-analysis-charging-
                    shock-CPR-analysis-CPR -the end.

Scenario 6 is only one shock process.
                    The process is analysis-charging-shock-CPR-analysis-CPR-the end.

Scenario 7 is one-time shock with shock again.
                    The process is analysis-charging-shock-CPR-analysis-CPR-
                     analysis-charging-shock-CPR -analysis-CPR-the end.

Scenario 8 is the patient’s hart rate always can be shocked.
After choosing the scenario, it will carry on 3 energy levels’ shock process until turn

off the trainer. Or until new scenario will be choosing again.
                    The process is analysis-charging-shock-CPRanalysis-charging-shock-CPR

Scenario 9 is that patient’s heart rate can not be shocked always.
After choosing the scenario, analysis and CPR will be cyclic until turn off, or

                    choosing the new scenario.
The process is analysis-CPR- analysis -CPR….

Allow the Instructor to interrupt any scenario with a continuous shock-able rhythm. The current default scenario is not changed.

Allow the Instructor to interrupt any scenario with a continuous non-shock-able rhythm. The current default scenario is not changed.

Allow the Instructor to interrupt any scenario with a electrode-off condition. To resume the scenario, press the button again.

Allow the Instructor to interrupt any scenario with a “Motion” condition on the next rhythm analysis.

Allow the Instructor to interrupt any scenario with a Low Battery condition. To resume the scenario, press the button again.

Allow the Instructor to select the prompt voice language.

Allow the Instructor to pause the trainer during any scenario.
